What happens in your browser (no server involved)

Typing your text, picking a font and colors, uploading an image for "Image relief" mode, and generating STL/3MF files all happen entirely on your device. No file or image you provide is ever uploaded to our server.

AI image generation (optional feature)

If you use the "Generate with AI" button, the text prompt you type is sent to our server at /api/generate, which forwards it to Google's Gemini/Imagen API to create an image. Your IP address is used server-side for up to 48 hours, solely to enforce a daily free-generation limit, then it's automatically discarded. Neither the prompt nor the generated image is stored by us afterward.

Usage analytics — Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity

We use Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, referral source, approximate region, device type) and Microsoft Clarity (session recordings and heatmaps that show how people use the tool) to improve the product. Neither loads until you accept the cookie banner — not before. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Vercel Web Analytics

The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free, aggregated analytics tool that counts page views without identifying individual visitors. It always runs, because it doesn't use cookies or personal identifiers.

Cookies & local storage

Besides Google's/Microsoft's own cookies (only set after you accept), we store a few small values in your browser's localStorage — never sent to any server:

• t3d_consent — your analytics consent choice.
• easy3d-lang — your selected display language.
• t3d_pro — whether you've unlocked Easy3D Pro.
• A soft daily counter for the free AI-image-generation limit.

How to opt out or withdraw consent

Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops any future Analytics/Clarity loading; to also remove cookies already set, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Third parties

Google Analytics and Google Gemini/Imagen (Google LLC), Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), Lemon Squeezy (subscription billing for Pro, $10/month), and Vercel (hosting + Web Analytics). Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes in a meaningful way.
