Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 11, 2026
We want everyone to be able to make signs with Easy3D, including people with disabilities. This statement describes where the site stands and how to tell us about a barrier.
1. The standard we follow
We aim to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 at level AA, as required by Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Services) Regulations, 2013. The site partially conforms: most of it meets the standard, with the exceptions listed below.
2. What we have done
- Every page declares its language and direction, and the language menu switches the whole page, including right-to-left for Hebrew and Arabic.
- Text and buttons meet the AA colour-contrast ratio; the site's orange was darkened for this.
- All controls are real buttons, links and form fields with labels, reachable and usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Status messages (the size and printability readout, upload and assistant results) are announced to screen readers.
- Pages use headings and landmarks, so screen-reader users can jump between sections.
- The site works when zoomed to 200% and on narrow phone screens without horizontal scrolling.
- We do not use an "accessibility overlay" widget; we fix the site itself.
3. How it was tested
On October 11, 2026 we tested the home page, the editor (in Hebrew and English), the Hebrew pages, the topic pages, the font pages, the legal pages and the admin panel with the automated axe-core checker against WCAG 2.1 A and AA, in Chrome on desktop. No violations remained after the fixes. Automated tools find only part of the problems, so we also welcome reports from people who use assistive technology.
4. Known limitations
- The 3D preview is a visual canvas, rotated by dragging. Its essential information is also given as text next to it: the sign's size in millimetres, whether it will print, and any warnings.
- Adding a picture or logo shows the traced result visually only.
- The colour pickers are the browser's own; how accessible they are depends on your browser.
- Pages run by others, namely Google sign-in and the Lemon Squeezy checkout, are outside our control.
- Downloaded STL and 3MF files are 3D models for printers and slicers, not documents.
- The site has not yet been reviewed by an independent accessibility expert or tested manually with every screen reader.
5. Accessibility coordinator
If you meet a barrier, or need help or information in another way, please contact our accessibility coordinator, Noam Oringer, at support@easy3d.app. Please describe the page, what you tried to do, and the device, browser and assistive technology you use. We will reply within 14 days and fix what we can as quickly as possible.
Easy3D is an online service only; it has no physical premises or customer-service office.
